Jason Linde, currently living and working in Washington, D.C., received his degree in Architecture from Cornell University in 2001. As he continued to practice architecture, he also began designing furniture in Brooklyn, NY. Fine tuning his wood and metal working skills, he could often be found late at night in the shops at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan. In 2006, he eventually moved his shop to Capitol Hill. In 2004, Jason won 1st place in the renowned Shinkenchiku Design Competition. It is an international competition out of Tokyo, annually judged by architect Steven Holl. He also won the Eidlitz Travel Fellowship through Cornell University in 2005, sending him abroad to study architecture and design in Austria. Currently, he is working on an art installation grant proposal for the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council. |
